As a consultant with Playground you will take on a number of different assignments within our areas of expertise.

A typical role is to be Project Manager for a cloud migration:

The main responsibility in the role is to lead and coordinate cloud migration initiatives. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing cloud migration projects within scope, budget, and timeline, while ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategies.

The main areas and tasks include:

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of cloud migration projects
• Collaborate with IT architects, DevOps, infrastructure, and security teams to design effective migration strategies
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure business continuity and data integrity during migration
• Manage stakeholder communication and reporting, providing transparency on progress, challenges, and results
• Define and track project KPIs, timelines, budgets, and resource needs
• Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and governance standards throughout the migration process
• Support change management and end-user transition planning related to cloud adoption

To be successful in this role, we think you need to fulfil this profile:

• Approximately 10 years of experience in technical project management, including leading cloud migration projects, preferably from larger organisations/international companies with a complex IT landscape
• Strong understanding of infrastructure, networking, virtualization, and cloud native technologies
• Proven experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
• Cloud certifications are an advantage (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken
• Experience both from a line role and as a consultant (advantage)
